Abstract

ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the issue of university integration of higher education systems, based on
the analysis of factors that affect the implementation. The study assumes that university integration
means the formation of a block of educational systems capable of unifying strengths and
experiences towards the strengthening of higher education through the development of research
and solving common problems between them. The central purpose of the article is to defend the
relevance of university integration of the region’s education systems and promote gradual and
effective implementation. Highlights, initially, the main similarities between the systems, such as:
same conception of university, recurrent institutional crises and incidence of scarce resources.
In continuity, sustaining the results of a survey conducted previously, the article analyzes the
problem of university integration in light of the vision of the systems agents systems on restrictive
and facilitators factors of the integration. Then, relying on the previous items, the study presents
a summary table of the main factors affecting the process of integration in the region. Finally, asconclusion, the study supports the importance of university integration in the region, and suggests
measures for its implementation
