Abstract

This paper analyzes the recent process of mergers and acquisitions in Mexico, which has become increasingly important in business competitiveness. In particular, the paper addresses tax and commercial reforms to determine the requirements of a merger and/or acquisition. The research compares the field of mergers and acquisitions in Mexico in 2015, 2016 and the first quarter of 2017 in order to understand which sectors are of greater importance.
